Millions of Indian children live in extreme poverty, putting the development of their bodies and minds at risk. They are the most likely to endure impoverishment and lose their lives.
Soch, through its child rescue program, has rescued and settled several kids.
Soch’s vision is to create a society for children where they can live happily and enjoy their rights. Established in July 2012, Soch is currently operational at three locations, Bhubaneswar, Khurdha Road, and Paradeep, at Odissa. Rakshyak (child rescue and resettlement project), Punarjivan (behaviour modification camp for challenging behaviour and addicted children), Pankh (mainstreaming of youths having orphan or semi orphan background) and Child Centered Community Development (CCCD) are four projects of SOCH. The NGO aims to work on preventing the violation of child rights at the community level. They also rescue children from exploitation and rehabilitation through experiential learning and care.
