Srujuna is on a mission to create an equal world for all women. In 2011, they started their journey and successfully impacted 8500+ women all across India in addition to the following-

Solution

For thousands of stifled women in low-income communities across the country, Srujuna is the key to unlocking their power! They touch the lives of these women by transforming groups that work with grassroots women – helping create powerful, enterprising women who produce and sell hand-made products. They provide livelihood opportunities to these low-income women – empowering them to become role models and changemakers in their families and communities.

Problem

Girls and boys witness gender inequality in their homes and communities daily – in textbooks, in movies, in the media and among families who provide their care and support. Across India, gender inequality results in unequal opportunities, and while it impacts the lives of both genders, statistically, girls are the most disadvantaged.
